Every week, someone asks us some version of the same question: “Is it too late for me to become a professional pilot?”
Our answer is almost always no. The students who make it aren’t necessarily the ones with the most experience or the most money—they’re the ones with a plan and a school built to execute it.
That’s what our Part 141 Professional Pilot Program is: a structured path from zero flight time to Certified Flight Instructor—and into a paying flying job.

Why Now?
Boeing’s 2026 Pilot and Technician Outlook projects demand for 674,000 new commercial pilots worldwide over the next 20 years—with roughly two-thirds of that driven by retirements and attrition, not just growth.
The seats are going to open. The question is who will be qualified to fill them.
What Happens After Instructing?
Many of our graduates begin their careers right here at Take Flight as flight instructors—building hours and real-world experience while getting paid to fly. From there, our CFIs have moved on to regional airlines, corporate operators, and beyond.
Meet one of our students. They found us through a quick Google search, came in to talk with our team, and were flying shortly after. Their journey from zero to CFI took just over a year—followed by their CFII and MEI in the months that followed.
Full Financing AvailableWe offer full financing for Professional Pilot Program students—including deferred payment options while you train. Money shouldn’t be the reason you put this off another year.
