This course will teach you the skills necessary to obtain your Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) Private Pilot Certificate, the first step in an exciting and rewarding career in aviation. Typically, students who have already earned their Private Pilot Certificate enjoy generous credit considerations at various aviation colleges.

The classroom portion of the program will include instruction in areas such as: aerodynamics, airspace, aircraft performance, communication and radar service, aeronautical charts, aircraft systems, meteorology for pilots, F.A.A. regulations, weight and balance calculations, flight operations, weather charts, aeromedical factors, emergency procedures, and cross country flight planning.

The flight portion of the course teaches you how to safely operate the airplane during all phases of flight including: taxiing, take-off, straight and level, climbs, descents, turns, ground reference and performance maneuvers, and various types of landings.
